Singapore Airlines (SIA) is increasing the number of departures from Copenhagen and several other destinations during the summer season 2024. From 1 July 2024, SIA will increase the number of departures between Copenhagen and Singapore by 40 % and the frequency will increase from five to seven departures per week. The increased number of departures meets growing demand in the Nordic market.
”"We are pleased to announce that from summer 2024 we will increase the frequency between Copenhagen and Singapore from the current five departures per week to daily departures. With this significant increase, we meet the growing demand from Nordic travelers and underline our commitment to the market. Our continuous efforts to improve our global route network provide our customers with exceptional travel experiences. We have been flying Copenhagen - Singapore for 46 years and with daily departures we promote business and leisure travel between the entire Nordic region and Singapore, and enable travel further afield,", says Muhammad Raimi, General Manager of Singapore Airlines in the Nordics.
Singapore Airlines' increased frequency between Copenhagen and Singapore is appreciated at Copenhagen Airport:
”"We are incredibly pleased that Singapore Airlines is offering daily flights from Copenhagen and adding two more flights per week with its most fuel-efficient aircraft, the A350-900. The added flights from this world-class airline will both increase and improve connections for Swedes to Southeast Asia, as well as provide good connections from across Asia and Australia. We thank Singapore Airlines for their continued support and trust in this route, and we look forward to a successful collaboration for many years to come,", says Thomas Woldbye, CEO of Copenhagen Airport.
