This is revealed in this year's edition of Evimetrix's consumer survey, Swedish Brand Award, where approximately 4,400 randomly selected individuals have expressed their opinions on over 400 brands in 34 categories. Hertz wins award for strongest brand in the category international car rental for the fifth year in a row.

”"We are very pleased to have won this award again and will continue to strive to be an industry leader in terms of innovation, sustainability and customer focus. This means continuing to invest in modern technology and developing new ways to improve our service and experience for our customers. I want to send a really big thank you to all my colleagues out in the country who make this possible," says Hertz Marketing Manager Anders Tärnell.

The brand position that forms the basis of the Swedish Brand Award is based on the metrics Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and awareness. By weighing the two metrics against each other, it becomes possible to compare different brands regardless of size.

”"Building strong awareness is about communicating with your target group so that everyone can see and hear the brand's message. Creating satisfied customers is more difficult and requires deeper analysis. In the survey, we get answers to how customers want to be treated and communicated with," says Peter Wissing, responsible for the measurement at Evimetrix.

According to a press release.
