SAS announces that the airline will defer interest payments due on October 23 and 26, 2023, respectively, on the company's hybrid bonds, as part of the company's SAS Forward plan and voluntary Chapter 11 process in the United States.

”"The deferral of interest payments is made in accordance with the terms and conditions of each hybrid bond," SAS writes.

In summary, there are two interest payments.

SAS is also postponing the company's semi-annual interest payment of approximately SEK 68 million, which is due on October 23 on the company's outstanding hybrid bond of just over SEK 1.5 billion with perpetual maturity.

The company's semi-annual interest payment of approximately SEK 258 million, which is due on October 26, 2023, on the company's total outstanding subordinated hybrid bond of SEK 6 billion with perpetual maturity, is also postponed.
