Taxi Stockholm is pausing all new purchases of Tesla cars. The reason is the ongoing conflict between IF Metall and Tesla, where the union has called a strike at the American electric car giant's Swedish subsidiary.
The taxi company, one of the largest in the capital, is urging Tesla to pay attention to the demands of the affected employees and negotiate a collective agreement for the benefit of both parties.
”"For us at Taxi Stockholm, the importance of collective agreements and fair employment conditions is important. We have chosen to pause the purchases of Tesla cars to show our position regarding the collective agreement," says Pernilla Samuelsson, acting CEO at Taxi Stockholm in a press release.
