A plane with 114 passengers en route from Malaga to Stockholm Arlanda was forced to make an emergency landing in Brussels on Sunday evening.
– There was a smell of smoke in the cabin, says Lars Andersen for SAS press office.
The plane, which was from Smartlynx, stopped at Brussels Airport for two hours to be inspected.
– It was a precautionary landing. Technicians were on standby, so the plane landed quickly, says Irena Busic, head of communications at SAS.
That there have previously been problems with Smartlunx's plan is nothing to worry about, explains Irena Busic.
– I wouldn't see any pattern in that. The contract expires at the end of November.
