It has never been above 30 degrees in December in Spain.
But on Tuesday, a record-breaking 29.9 degrees was measured in Malaga and the heat wave also extends to Valencia, which bathed in sunshine and 27 degrees, writes TT.
According to the national weather agency Aemet, heatwaves like this would have been ”much less likely without the climate changes that have been observed globally.”.
