Viking Cinderella returns to the Helsinki-Stockholm route more glamorous than ever. On the ship, which was built in 1989, passengers can also admire the original shiny marble and brass, which are now super trendy interior elements.

The interior of Viking Cinderella, which was built in 1989, has been updated several times over the years. The ship's beauty is getting a new facelift to celebrate its return to the Helsinki-Stockholm route on March 8. 

Viking Cinderella has been at the shipyard in Naantali for 18 days at the most. The most extensive renovations are being carried out in the cabin departments, where 289 cabins are being completely renovated: bunk beds are being replaced with comfortable double beds, the surfaces are being renewed and sleeping comfort is improved with the help of new high-quality mattresses.

In the ship's public areas, the spa area is being completely renovated according to Archipelago Spa-concept, which is already known from Viking Line's other ships. This means that the interior design draws its inspiration from the sea and the archipelago. Calm interior colors and materials such as light wood surfaces provide Scandinavian elegance and freshness in the other areas of the ship as well.

”Timelessness and our passengers” wishes and preferences have been the guiding principles in the renovation of Cinderella. Our passengers want to sleep in a restful environment, on high-quality mattresses and preferably in a double bed, and the best cabins are always taken first. After the renovations, Cinderella has a total of 223 cabins with double beds in five different cabin categories, starting with the ship’s luxurious suites,” says Viking Line’s architect Johan Nordberg.
