The U.S. unmanned spacecraft Odysseus has now landed on the moon after a week-long journey, mission manager Tim Crain confirms. It is the first U.S. lunar landing in more than 50 years.

– Welcome to the moon, Crain said after the successful landing. 

The goal for the space trip is for NASA to be able to send manned missions to the moon again before 2030, reports Sky news.
