The passenger flight was supposed to land at Landvetter in Gothenburg at 10 p.m. on Tuesday evening. But the aircraft, which took off from Amsterdam, was forced to turn around in mid-air as it approached Denmark.
According to Swedavia, the plane was forced to return to the airport in Amsterdam.
”"We have received information that the passengers will be flown on a replacement flight to Landvetter later this evening," writes Ellen Laurin, press officer at Swedavia, in a text message to Aftonbladet.
On its website, the airline KLM writes that the plane in question was forced to turn around due to technical problems. What caused the problem is currently unclear.
