The French Post Office is issuing a scratch-and-sniff stamp to celebrate the world-famous baguette. The stamp, which costs 1.96 euros, depicts a baguette decorated with a blue-white-red ribbon and has a print run of 594,000.

”The baguette, the bread of our daily life, the symbol of our gastronomy, the jewel of our culture,” La Poste writes on its website.

The bakery-scented stamp was unveiled on Thursday in connection with the celebration of Saint-Honoré, the patron saint of bakers and confectioners, and went on sale on Friday.
