On Friday, charges will be brought against the four individuals suspected of crimes following the widely reported unpaid bill in Malmö during the Christmas holidays, the Prosecutor's Office writes in a press release.
It was on Christmas Eve last year that a party of 35 people in total dined at the restaurant Atmosfär in central Malmö, spending just over 82,000 Swedish kronor. When it came time to pay, they rose from their table and left the restaurant in several taxis, without paying.
Advances in the investigation led to suspicion of about twenty further serious frauds against business owners.
