The Delicata Classic Wine Festival offers a unique experience combining Malta's finest wines, local culinary talent and live music for both Maltese residents and international visitors. The festival also promotes sustainable local farming and responsible wine tasting.
Delicata is delighted to present the 21st annual Classic Wine Festival, a weekend of Malta's beloved wines, delicious food and local musical talent, including a special All Stars Show.
This year’s festival will take place on August 9, 10 and 11 in Valletta’s Upper Barrakka Gardens from 7pm to midnight. Attendees will be treated to new releases of Delicata’s finest wines, delicious food and a unique line-up of live entertainment.
The festival will feature over 20 of Delicata’s exceptional wines, including the sparkling Frizzantes, boutique wines DOK Malta Medina and DOK Gozo Victoria Heights, flagship varieties Gran Cavalier and Grand Vin de Hauteville, sweet lifestyle wines Dolcino and Falcon, lush Moscato Casella and other varieties from the Classic Collection. Attendees will also be able to enjoy all three wines from Pjazza Reġina and the popular SpritZZers.
A highlight of this year's festival is the All Stars Show, featuring some of Malta's biggest entries in the Eurovision Song Contest.
The live cooking stalls will offer a variety of Maltese and international dishes prepared by the best catering companies, ensuring there is something for all tastes.
In addition to producing a wide range of its own wine brands, Delicata actively supports local music, arts, culture and culinary scenes as part of its commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG). VisitMalta is supporting this year's festival.
This 21st edition of the festival is more than a celebration of wine. It is an opportunity to meet Malta's most award-winning winemakers and enjoy the island's Mediterranean style in a fun, safe and festive atmosphere with other wine and food enthusiasts.
