Ministry of Foreign Affairs tightens travel advice to Israel and Palestine

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is today tightening its travel advice to Israel and Palestine due to the security situation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against all travel to Gaza for ten years and since October 8, 2023, all non-essential travel to other parts of Palestine. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs now advises against all travel to all of Palestine.

Regarding Israel, the Swedish Foreign Ministry advises against all travel to the country.

”"Take this decision seriously," writes Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson on X.

The advice remains in effect until further notice.
