German airline Lufthansa is temporarily suspending all flights to and from Tel Aviv in Israel, several Israeli media outlets report. The suspension will, according to Lufthansa, be in effect until August 8.

”"The reason for this is the current developments in the region," a Lufthansa spokesperson said, according to Reuters.

Lufthansa is also extending a previous flight suspension to and from Beirut, Lebanon. The suspension will now be in effect until August 12, writes Reuters.
