A record number of companies are on the Råd & Röns newspaper's "black list." The motor industry and the travel industry are overrepresented on the list.

The list is based on companies that ignore the Swedish National Board of Consumer Complaints (Arn)'s recommendations on customer complaints.

This fall's update of the "blacklist" includes 235 companies, which is the highest number ever. The last peak was in 2022, when there were 227 companies.

The motor industry tops the list with 71 companies and a total of 95 cases.

Among other things, Tesla is on the list for the second time. The company has not fixed a problem with incorrectly installed doors on one of its customers' cars, despite Arn recommending this.

Other common complaints relate to used cars where sellers have been unwilling to fix hidden defects.

In the travel industry, 76 cases have been received from 27 companies. Airlines dominate, often involving companies that have chosen to ignore EU rules on compensation for cancelled or delayed trips.

Among the companies are Turkish airlines, Ryanair and Wizz air.
