SWISS is reacting to the latest events in the Middle East. After a thorough investigation, we have decided to cancel flights from Zurich to Tel Aviv and back (LX252/253) on Wednesday and Thursday, September 18 and 19. The safety of our passengers and crew is always our top priority.

SWISS is also avoiding airspace over Israel and Iran until further notice until Thursday, September 19.

Our specialists are evaluating all available information, are in constant contact with the responsible authorities in Switzerland and on site, and will continue to assess the situation in the coming days.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause our passengers and are contacting those passengers booked on the cancelled flights. Of course, we will offer you the option of rebooking to a later travel date free of charge or a full refund of the ticket price.
