Icelandair launches new summer route from Gothenburg in 2025

Icelandair is expanding its route network for the summer of 2025 and is introducing a new direct route from Gothenburg to Reykjavik. The new route will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, starting on June 19 and running until August 31.

– We are very pleased to be able to offer our new route from Gothenburg to Reykjavik. This route complements our existing service from Stockholm and makes it easier for travelers in Western Sweden to experience Iceland and our convenient onboard service. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board and giving them a memorable travel experience, says Tomas Ingason, Chief Commercial Officer at Icelandair.
