Flight disruption in northern Norway: "Radar error"”

All traffic to two airports in northern Norway is temporarily stopped, reports Excellent.

– A radar error has meant that Tromsø and Evenes airports have been forced to close the airspace, says Ylva Celius Trulsen, press spokesperson for Norwegian airline Avinor, to the newspaper.

Evenes (Harstad-Narvik) Airport is located outside Narvik, at the same height as Abisko in Sweden. The Norwegian Air Force also has a base there. Tromsø is further north.
