Visitors to Disneyland in California will now have to be prepared to pay more for their admission tickets. Owner Walt Disney has announced that ticket prices will be raised by between $7 and $12, an increase of 5.9 to 6.5 percent.
The amusement park's ticket prices are based on demand, but it also offers tickets for a minimum price of $104, equivalent to almost 1,100 Swedish kronor. Those tickets are not affected, but the price increase includes other categories, writes CNBC.
Amusement parks in the US have previously been questioned for raising prices too much, but the Walt Disney Group has pointed out that it has allowed the price of the cheapest ticket to remain at the same level for six years.
