The government is choosing not to utilize the time-limited exemptions for ferry traffic to Gotland that are allowed in the EU regulation Fuel EU Maritime. This is stated in a press release.

This means that Gotland Traffic is also covered by the emission reduction requirements set out in the regulation until 2030.

Gotlandsbolaget's shares, normally one of the least volatile on the stock exchange, had fallen by 2.8 percent to SEK 2,100 on Tuesday afternoon. Since the stock exchange closed on Friday, the price has fallen by 6.3 percent.
