Remove

2024 is the warmest year on record, according to the EU's climate service Copernicus. After an unusually warm November, it is already clear that the past year will be the warmest on record.

2024 will be the first calendar year with more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. The long-term goal of the Paris Agreement is to keep the increase well below 2 degrees, with a goal of 1.5 degrees, to limit damage and loss.
