Ahead of the winter of 2025/2026, TUI offers over 900 hotels in popular destinations such as Gran Canaria, Thailand, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. In addition to classic charter trips, it is also possible to book package trips with scheduled flights with flexible travel lengths. This means a wider range with greater freedom of choice and flexibility for TUI travelers.
– As the holidays draw to a close, many people start dreaming about their next vacation. Being able to book their winter trip well in advance provides both flexibility and the opportunity to secure a place in popular destinations. This Christmas we have had high booking pressure in places like Thailand and Egypt, with booking increases of around 20 percent compared to last year, says Dian Martinez Valencia, communications manager at TUI.
TUI believes in increased travel next Christmas as well
As this year, Christmas 2025 falls in a way that makes it easy to plan long holidays for those who want to get the most out of their vacation days. This year, travel operator TUI sees that more people will travel away over the holidays compared to last year, an increase of almost ten percent. Everything indicates that the trend will continue next winter.
– We see in both consumer surveys and early indications of the booking situation for next summer that more Swedes will travel in 2025 compared to this year. This is strongly linked to the interest rate cuts that have given people more money in their wallets. The fact that it is possible to maximize vacation time next Christmas also indicates that this will be the case, says Dian Martinez Valencia, communications manager at TUI.
