An aircraft en route from Arlanda to Gran Canaria was forced to land in Billund, Denmark at 10:30 a.m. The reason: The co-pilot felt a cold.

– It is better that we replace him in Billund than that he goes all the way to Gran Canaria, says the airline's vice president Birthe Madsen at the airline Jettime.

In total, travelers will be delayed by approximately two hours and the flight will shortly take off from Denmark with a new co-pilot on board.

– When you get to such a high altitude, you feel the symptoms more and then a simple cold can feel much worse for a crew member, says Birthe Madsen.
