An SJ intercity train that was en route to Stockholm from Malmö has been stopped just outside Mjölby since 6 p.m. 

170 passengers have been forced to evacuate using ladders from the train.

According to SJ, the train had vehicle problems. 

– The train does not want to continue. Now they are evacuating the passengers to an express train, says Leila Fogelholm at SJ's press service.
