The French CAC 40 index rose 0.4 percent. The French-Dutch airline Air France-KLM climbed more than 29 percent after reporting stronger-than-expected financial results.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, German airline Lufthansa advanced almost 12 percent after forecasting a significantly higher adjusted operating profit for the 2025 financial year than the previous year. The company predicts that demand for air travel will remain high, which is also reflected in a positive trend for bookings in early 2025, according to the annual report.
