It is now clear that the Hotel and Tourism program at Elof Lindälv Gymnasium has been quality assured and thus certified by the industry. The certification means, among other things, that the education has a close and tight collaboration with companies in the hospitality industry and can thus ensure that students receive modern knowledge adapted to today's requirements.
– It is gratifying that Elof Lindälv Gymnasium meets the criteria and is now certified. In addition to providing employable students, we can see that it strengthens the attractiveness and quality of their upper secondary education and thus leads to increased application pressure, says Peter Thomelus, Head of Skills Supply at Visita and member of the certification committee.

– As principal, I feel both proud and happy that the Hotel and Tourism Program has been certified by Visita. The certification makes our education more attractive to future students and their parents, and also strengthens our brand as a school. I look forward to seeing our students grow and develop within this certified framework and knowing that they are well prepared for the future. It is proof that we are doing the right thing, says Lisa Jönsson, principal at Elof Lindälv Gymnasium
– Through close collaboration between the school and the business community for several years, the Visita certification of the Hotel and Tourism Program means a seal of quality and a guarantee that the education is relevant and in demand in the labor market. It is an investment in the students' future and a security for them that they are well prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities that await after high school, says Marie Cervin, project manager tourism & events and café owner at Skafferiet Gottskär.
