American airline Delta Airlines reports earnings per share of $0.46 for the first quarter of 2025. This was higher than the $0.39 that was expected on average, according to a compilation by S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Revenue for the quarter was $13.0 billion, which was as expected.

For the second quarter, Delta forecasts earnings per share of $1.70-2.30, which was clearly below the analyst average of $2.64.

According to the company, growth has largely stalled, amid uncertainty around global trade policy. Because of this, Delta is also choosing not to reaffirm its guidance for the full year 2025.

The stock rose 3 percent in US pre-market trading.
