Comfort Hotel Solna strengthens the team with a strong name from its own organization. Bahar Deogun, who is currently CEO and hotel director at Comfort Hotel Xpress Stockholm Central, is now taking the next step and becoming responsible for Comfort Hotel Solna.
Comfort Hotel Solna, a zero-energy hotel that opened in 2021 in the House of Strawberry building, is more than just a hotel. The unique combination of hotel, corporate housing and Strawberry Hotel's Swedish headquarters creates a dynamic community that generates valuable synergies.
Bahar has a solid and successful background in the hotel industry and began her career at Nordic Choice Hotels (now Strawberry) back in 2016. After a period outside the organization, she returned and has since established herself as a strong and inclusive leader with the ability to combine strategic thinking with operational action. She has also served as the operations manager for the Swedish Tourist Association's metropolitan facilities.
Bahar has a solid educational background, with studies in Revenue Management at Cornell University as well as further education in HR and several leadership programs. She was named ”Vista’s Young Industry Star” in 2019. In 2025, she was recognized with a prestigious nomination for “Leader of the Year” at the Inclusion Award and selected as one of 75 future female leaders by Ledarna – Sweden’s chief executive organization.
