Easter 2025 was a record start to the camping season. First Camp, Scandinavia's largest camping chain, saw a more than 30 percent increase in the number of guest nights at its Swedish destinations compared to the last record year of 2022, when Easter fell just as late in the spring. For the entire chain, guest nights increased by 26 percent. Despite the changeable April weather, more people than ever chose to start the season at First Camp.

”"Even in uncertain times in the world, camping is standing very strong and we are very pleased that the first major camping weekend of the year attracted a record number of guests, despite unstable weather. We also see that our continued investments in our product and guest offering are resulting in extra high demand. Ahead of this year, we have made major investments in, among other things, upgraded service buildings, mini golf courses and newly built cabins and camping sites,", says Johan Söör, CEO of First Camp.
