US President Donald Trump announced on Thursday deals worth more than $200 billion between the US and the United Arab Emirates, including a $14.5 billion order from state-owned Etihad Airways to Boeing and GE Aerospace.

According to the White House, Etihad Airways has committed to purchasing 28 American-made Boeing 787 and 777X aircraft, all equipped with engines from GE.
”Including the next-generation 777X in the fleet deepens the long-standing partnership between the United States and the United Arab Emirates in commercial aviation, strengthening American industry and exports,” the White House said in a statement.
On Wednesday, Boeing announced its largest widebody aircraft deal to date, when Qatar Airways ordered 160 aircraft with an option for another 50 – for a total value of $96 billion, according to the White House.
