There will be no strike in the Swedish aviation industry, the Swedish Transport Companies announced on Sunday evening.

The Swedish aviation industry, which is part of Transport companies, has signed a new agreement with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.

This is stated by the Transport Companies in a press release.

”"This means that all notices of industrial action cease and the risk of strikes is over," they write.

The so-called Cabin Agreement includes, among other things, salary increases and changes in salary regulations.

New agreement 

Before the agreement, it looked like around 2,400 employees in the Swedish aviation industry would could go on strike. That strike threat has now been called off.

– After conflict notice and mediation, we now have an agreement in place. The most important thing for us has been that the cost increases do not go outside the framework that the industry parties have set within the so-called mark, says Linda Räfsbäck, head of negotiations for the Swedish Aviation Industry Association, in the press release.

The new agreement covers 11 companies and is valid until 2027.
