More than just beach life
Camping in Croatia is more than just sun and sand. Many campsites are located right by the sea or nestled in pine forests, close to cycle paths, swimming coves and local restaurants. If you want to start your journey inland, the forested area of Gorski kotar and the Risnjak National Park are recommended, where smaller campsites serve local cuisine. From here you can head to Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla, and on to Rastoke and the Plitvice Lakes, with their impressive waterfalls and nature-based accommodations.
Coastal classics – Istria and Kvarner
