Soon it will be possible to take the train from Copenhagen to the Czech capital Prague – without a change. And next summer, night trains will also be offered on the same route, writes the website Klimatgranskaren.
The Czech Republic's state-owned railway company České dráhy may start a new daily direct line between Prague and Copenhagen as early as December this year. This is evident from the train company's preliminary train schedule, the site writes. The journey will take around ten hours and pass through Berlin and Hamburg, among other places, along the way.
Starting in the summer of 2026, a night train on the same route is also planned, but only from Prague to Copenhagen - not the other way around.
However, German DB Infrago and Danish Banverket must approve the train line for it to be realized, writes Klimatgranskaren.
