Micromobility company Voi has won a tender to deliver 6,000 electric bicycles to Paris, according to a press release.

Voi is not saying anything about the financial details of the contract, which is for four years, other than that it is the company's largest to date and is expected to make Paris its largest market.

”France is now a key part of our European growth plan, and we will continue to grow in this market with both ambition and responsibility,” says Fredrik Hjelm, co-founder and CEO of Voi.

Voi is available in a number of major European cities, including London, Berlin, Brussels, Oslo, Helsinki, Vienna and Stockholm.

Investment company VNV Global, which owns over 20 percent of the shares in Voi, rose over 5 percent on the stock market on Wednesday afternoon.
