At least 240 people on board died when a passenger plane crashed crashed in Ahmedabad in India on Thursday.
On the plane were 169 Indians, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese and one Canadian.
The flight was en route to Gatwick in London.
"My wife and I are shocked by the terrible events in Ahmedabad this morning," King Charles said in a statement.
He highlights the rescue effort and shows his participation.
