A woman ordered food for herself and her family at a restaurant on Gotland last week.

When they received the receipt, the woman's son discovered that the staff had made a note: "Fat lady in a flowery dress.".

– I understand that it's so they can find me, but it still felt terrible. For my son too, that he has to see his mother being called fat when we go to a restaurant, the woman says to Heligoland.

A manager at the restaurant apologized and offered the family a meal.

– It went completely wrong, and we have had a clear conversation about it. This will definitely never happen again, says the restaurant manager.
