For the first time ever, Apollo is offering a winter trip from Norrköping Airport. On February 16, 2026, the plane will take off for the sunny Canary Island of Fuerteventura – perfectly timed with the sports holidays.

– We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers a winter trip from Norrköping, says Martina Krantz, press officer at Apollo. Fuerteventura is one of our most popular destinations during the winter months – with its pleasant climate, long sandy beaches and many opportunities for both rest and activity.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands and is particularly famous for its vast, white beaches, crystal clear waters and excellent conditions for surfing, hiking and other outdoor activities. The island has over 3,000 hours of sunshine per year, making it an ideal destination for those looking to recharge with warmth and light during the dark winter months.

The trip departs on February 16, 2026 and is aimed particularly at families with children and other sports holidaymakers looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday - without stopovers or long transfer times.

Apollo has established itself in the Östergötland region as a tour operator with a wide and exciting range of services in Greece. However, since entering Norrköping Airport in the summer of 2023, both Apollo and the airport have strived to also be able to offer trips during the winter months.

– It feels fantastic that Apollo is now making its first winter trip from Norrköping. It shows strong demand in the region and that our airport has an important role to play even during the winter season, says Jesper Low, CEO, Norrköping Airport.

According to the press release.
