Yesterday, two cats were left in a cage at check-in at Arlanda.

According to police, the cats had been sitting there for several hours before they were called to check on them. Police believe they were left there on purpose.

The cats were then taken to a cat shelter.

The police will now file a report for a violation of the Animal Welfare Act.
