The First Camp Group, Northern Europe's largest chain of camping and resorts, has just ended July 2025 with its highest monthly turnover ever. Demand has been strong from all guest nationalities and the company's investments for 2025 are clearly showing the effects. First Camp breaks its previous July record with a total turnover increase of approximately 8 percent in local currency compared to the previous record in July 2024.
Camping sales increased by more than 7%, while cottage sales increased by more than 41%, while on-site sales (e.g. food, drinks and activities) increased even more. Comparisons to previous years are apples-to-apples and exclude the effect of new acquisitions.
”A strong signal in a challenging market”
”"That we manage to set yet another new sales record at a time when many households are still affected by an uncertain economic situation shows the attractiveness of camping holidays and the strength of First Camp's offering. Our investments in product, guest experience and marketing have yielded clear results. I would like to thank all our fantastic employees who, by constantly being on their toes, have created this result - and of course also thank all our guests. Despite high pressure on our destinations, we also see that we continue to increase guest satisfaction compared to the previous year," says Johan Söör, President and CEO of First Camp.
