Ski trip to Andorra back directly from Karlstad!
Tour operator Quality Travel is strengthening its focus on accessibility and proximity by once again investing in departures from several Swedish regional airports. Ahead of the winter of 2025/2026, direct flights to Andorra from Karlstad are now being offered.
– We want more people to have the opportunity to discover Andorra – one of Europe’s sunniest and most affordable ski destinations. By flying from more regional airports, we make it easier and more convenient for travelers throughout Sweden., says Niklas Östmark, CEO of Quality Travel.
Andorra is located between France and Spain in the mighty Pyrenees mountain range and is known for its incredibly fine and exciting skiing. With slopes located at an altitude of over 2,500 meters, Andorra is one of the most snow- and sun-sure ski areas in Europe. Here, in addition to skiing, you can enjoy 300 days of sunshine per year, good shopping (Andorra is a duty-free country) and culinary experiences through a mix of French and Spanish cuisine.
– It's really fun to be able to offer a different destination and a ski destination directly from Karlstad again! Not only is there snow security and the feeling of skiing in really high mountains, the trips are also very affordable. In terms of cost, there is basically no difference compared to going to the Swedish mountains during high season, says Åsa Jernfält, marketing manager at Karlstad Airport.
Quality Travel offers direct flights from Karlstad to Andorra:
• One country, one lift pass – a total of 308 km of slopes
• Free lift passes for children under 12 and discounts for seniors
• Swedish guide service on site
• Snow-sure skiing at an altitude of over 2,500 meters
The trip to Andorra is on March 15, 2026. Since Andorra does not have its own airport, the flight lands in nearby Lleida on the Spanish side.
