SJ is being scrutinized

Remove

SJ has suffered several major delays and train cancellations during the summer. The Swedish Consumer Agency will now investigate the train company.

The Swedish Consumer Agency demands answers in a letter on how SJ takes care of its passengers in the event of major disruptions.

– What we are looking at is preparedness for major traffic disruptions. How do you solve that with replacement buses? How do you solve it for people who have a little difficulty walking along the tracks if that becomes an issue and so on?, says Maja Lindstrand, a lawyer at the Swedish Consumer Agency, to The Echo.

A lot of it is about how information is conveyed to travelers.

The criticism could result in an order for action. SJ tells Ekot that it welcomes the review.
