Pontus Tagesson will take up his position as the new airport manager at Ronneby Airport on 3 November. He succeeds Arri Kallonen, who is leaving Swedavia at the end of the year to develop his own business.

Pontus has long and broad experience from leading positions within industry, energy and finance. He most recently comes from NKT Karlskrona, where as Director of Planning he was responsible for operational planning at the company's facility in Karlskrona. Prior to that, he held several management roles within both project controlling, business development and strategic development, including at E.ON and Nordea.

– We are very pleased to welcome Pontus to Swedavia and Ronneby Airport. His solid leadership, business focus and experience from complex operations will be a strong addition as we continue to develop the airport as an important hub for Blekinge and southern Sweden, says Karin Öhrström, Director of Regional Airports at Swedavia.

– I am really looking forward to taking on the role of Airport Manager for Ronneby Airport. The airport is important for both accessibility and regional development, and I look forward to driving the operation forward together with colleagues and partners, focusing on future needs and sustainable development, says Pontus Tagesson.
