Ryanair has today (17 September) welcomed the decision of the Court of Alicante to convict a passenger who disrupted a flight from Ibiza to Alicante on 4 June 2025 by physically assaulting a crew member. The person was convicted and fined €270.
The airline emphasizes its zero tolerance for disruptive behavior on board and that it will continue to act to protect both passengers and staff.
Head of Communications Jade Kirwan says:
”This ruling shows that there are consequences for disruptive behavior. We hope this deters future incidents and contributes to a safe and respectful travel experience for everyone.”
