Thailand has declared a curfew in parts of the coastal province of Trat as a result of ongoing fighting with neighboring Cambodia.

The curfew applies to the districts of Mueang Trat, Khlong Yai, Laem Ngop, Khao Saming and Bo Rai. It does not, however, include Ko Chang or Ko Kut, reports Reuters.

Thai forces reportedly destroyed a bridge used to deliver weapons from Cambodia on Saturday, while Cambodia accused Thailand of shelling civilian infrastructure.

“In general, there have been ongoing clashes,” said Thai Defense Ministry spokesman Surasant Kongsiri at a press conference.

The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel within 50 kilometers of the border between Thailand and Cambodia.
