A SAS flight en route from Copenhagen to Newark Airport in New York was forced to turn back over the Shetland Islands.

– They received an indication that there could be a technical fault, says Sarah Terkilsen from SAS's press department.

She can't say what the error concerned, but says SAS is now investigating the incident.

The plane landed back at Copenhagen Airport at 19:30 on Thursday evening.
