FlixBus and Bergkvara announce the launch of a new airport bus service connecting Gothenburg's Nils Ericson Terminal with Gothenburg Landvetter Airport. The new service aims to offer a convenient, affordable and flexible way for travelers to get to the airport from central Gothenburg.
The line will operate between Gothenburg's Nils Ericson Terminal and Landvetter.
Airport with several centrally located stops including Kungsportsplatsen, Berzeliigatan and
Korsvägen, making the journey to the airport as accessible as possible for travelers from all over the city.
Additional stops include Hangarvägen and Landvetterhotellet, further improving
accessibility around the airport area.
The service will offer 30-minute services year-round, ensuring reliable connections
between Gothenburg and the airport. During periods of high demand, including Easter,
During the summer season from June to August and the holiday period in November, departures will be every 30
minute to be available during most of the day. During low and mid season the same
30-minute frequency still to be offered at selected times, maintaining a consistent
availability all year round.
Travelers will benefit from a fixed ticket price of 79 SEK, regardless of which bus or line they choose
between Gothenburg and Landvetter Airport.
A key feature of the service is open ticketing, which is designed to provide greater flexibility for
passengers. A purchased ticket is valid from 12 hours before to 12 hours after the selected departure time,
allowing travelers to adjust their plans as needed. The open ticket can also be used on
other FlixBus routes operating between Gothenburg and Landvetter Airport.
The route will be operated in collaboration with Bergkvara, marking the first collaboration between
FlixBus and the Swedish operator. According to Peter Ahlgren, Senior Managing Director Nordics at
FlixBus, the initiative reflects the company's broader ambition to strengthen connections between cities and
airports through accessible and sustainable transport options.

Flibco currently operates airport transfer services in several European markets through partnerships
with local bus operators, and the collaboration is expected to accelerate the development of integrated
airport mobility solutions across the continent.
