Interest in Swedish wines has grown in recent years, not least after the wine The Immelen from Kullabergs winery in Skåne, which was the first Swedish wine served with the main course at the Nobel Banquet in 2025. Now launched Terra Skåne, a new website that presents nine wineries in Skåne and makes it easier to discover the region's growing wine landscape.
Terra Skåne is a new website that brings together nine wineries in northwestern Skåne and makes it easier to explore the region's emerging wine production. The initiative is a collaboration between wineries and municipalities, with the goal of attracting more international visitors and increasing interest in Swedish wines.
– Terra Skåne is about joining forces and telling a common story about the wine landscape that has emerged in northwestern Skåne. says project manager Linus Svensson. There is enormous knowledge and passion among the wine producers and through this collaboration we want to make it easier for more people to discover Swedish wines and visit the region.
On the new platform, visitors can explore vineyards, plan trips and take part in experiences connected to wine, nature and gastronomy. The hope is to create new reasons to travel and position northwest Skåne as an exciting wine and nature destination.
