The German airline Lufthansa is once again under threat of a strike. This time it is the pilots who are planning to go on strike for two days starting on Monday.

The strike is due to a dispute over pay and pension levels. The strike will affect flights operated by Lufthansa and its subsidiaries Eurowings and Cityline.

Lufthansa staff have gone on strike several times this year.

Last Friday, cabin crew at Lufthansa went on strike. Around 500 flights were affected.

Earlier this year, the pilots have gone on strike on two occasions.
