Air passengers will soon be able to sleep comfortably – but only for four hours. Economy ticket holders will be able to book shifts in bunk beds on Air New Zealand.
This is what it could sound like when the New Zealand airline "Air New Zealand" launches pods with bunk beds on its cheaper flights, reports The Independent.

Sleep for four hours
The bunk beds will be available to book in four-hour shifts by those flying in economy class on long-haul flights.
Passengers can book a maximum of 2 sleep shifts per flight for SEK 2,600 per nap.
The initiative will apply to long-haul flights and will be launched with a new aircraft, which will fly the 17-hour journey between Auckland and New York starting in November this year.
Must be able to climb
The only drink allowed in the pods is water and snacks are strictly prohibited. Each new passenger who has booked a nap will receive new sheets and a sleep kit consisting of earplugs and a sleep mask, among other things.
To sleep in the bunk beds, you must be over 15 years old and be able to get into the bunk bed yourself, which may require the passenger to climb, bend over, or otherwise wriggle into a horizontal position.
