A Norwegian flight en route from Oslo to London had to turn back on Tuesday evening, writes VG.

– I don't know exactly what happened. The flight from Oslo was on its way to Gatwick, but had to turn around after a crack appeared in the windshield, says Norwegian's press manager Chatrine Solli to VG.

According to her, the crack was in the outermost layer of glass.

On board were 88 passengers who will travel to London on another flight this evening.
